Tina has her masters in education from Harvard University. She spent the first part of her career working with teens and families in an at risk program for youth. In 2010 Tina went to the National Personal Training Institute and received her personal training certificate. That same year she received her CrossFit Level 1 certificate and became an affiliate owner in 2011. For the past five years Tina has been working on an initiative to bring together City of Boston leaders and CrossFit affiliate owners to create a program for at risk youth. This program, Boston Iron Club, is part of the 3PointFoundation and includes an academic and character curriculum.
As a CrossFit coach Tina brings her collegiate athletic background; she was a national level cross country runner and avid basketball player. She also has 5 years experience as a CrossFit coach. Tina developed the kid and teen program and a fundamental program for beginners. She will oversee both of these programs and assists the Director in bringing the highest level of coaching for all athletes. Her passion for fitness and her compassion to help others is the driving force behind CrossFit BIG!
