Drop In FAQs

Are masks required?

We follow the CDC, State of MA and City of Boston guidelines. If you have had both shots and cleared by a medical professional you are welcome to remove your mask while training with us.

Can I do my own thing during class?

We have Open Gym from 2-4 pm Monday through Friday. This is the only time we allow our athletes to train on their own.

We only ask that you follow our house rules:

  1. Take care of our equipment and facility. (e.g. avoid dropping empty barbells, wipe down your equipment, and put everything away.)
  2. Use clips on barbells to avoid accidents.
  3. Clean up after yourself when you are done training.
  4. Have fun!
I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.

What's Your Drop-In Policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes come “throw down” with us!

If you are just passing through, here are your options to attend:

  • Drop-in fee of $30per day
I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.

If you are experienced CrossFitter, Weightlifter, or Strongman, it’s totally cool to come in during Open Gym hours to check out the gym. If you feel CrossFit Boston Iron & Grit is the right gym for you, we can discuss how to become a Tribe Member. Please contact us at info@crossfitbostonirongrit.com.

Do I need to reserve a spot or contact anyone?

Yes, just send an email to info@crossfitbostonirongrit.com to let us know the dates you’ll be in town and when you’d like to come in.  And then, complete our waiver.  Someone will follow up to get you set up for your visit and answer any questions you may have.
