Growing up I played as many games or sports as I could. Though my passion was baseball, I was drawn to all the physical and mental challenges sport and game presented regardless of whether I was good.
About six years ago, long after my days of playing organized sports were gone, I was introduced to the sport of CrossFit. It was like I was on an adult playground and I was immediately hooked. CrossFit bridged the gap to those younger days when I was playing organized sports. I feel like in every class I’m surrounded by teammates.
Whether I’m taking class or coaching class I’m constantly fueled, inspired and humbled by other athletes, regardless of their experience or ability, as we all work toward the common goal of becoming fitter.
I’m grateful to be part of the CrossFit and the Iron & Grit community. 3-2-1, GO!
