Miguel Claravall

As a coach of CrossFit and a student of martial arts Miguel brings to his athletes a wonderful disposition and a wealth of knowledge. He has spent the two years coaching Olympic Lifting and taking his athletes to numerous competitions in the area. He believes there is an inner athlete in every person. Goals can be achieved through learning the technique and getting better mechanics. Aside from the CrossFit trainer courses, Miguel brings to the community the experience of practicing and competing in Brazilian Jiujitsu. It is an art form that depends on your capacity to move yourself and an object in the most efficient manner.

Miguel continues to expand his knowledge of teaching and mastering new forms. Most recently his interests have lead him to bring CrossFit Defense to Iron & Grit and he will be starting a class for the members and the wider Boston community.
